I love our great team of waxing specialists and our reputation for providing excellent services and a wonderful experience!
What is the best thing about your job?
The best thing about my job is the opportunity it provides me to meet new clients everyday, and the chance to catch up with regular clients every 4 weeks!
What are some of your favorite skincare products @ The Wax Bar?
My favorite product has to be Tendskin for waxing after-care and Dermalogica Super Rich Moisturizer.
If you weren't an esthetician, what would you be doing right now?
I would be a teacher because I love to help people grow and achieve their goals.
What else should we know about you?
I was born and raised in Ballard. I have always loved the community and was very excited to open this business here! I have been waxing for 12 years. My family includes my husband, daughter, two dogs, and of course we all live in Ballard!

What do you love about the Wax Bar?
In short, the people. From the people I work with to my diverse clientele, I am always learning something new!
What is the best thing about your job?
My job gives me the opportunity to make people feel good about themselves or make their life just a little better, and I find that really rewarding.
What are some of your favorite skincare products @ The Wax Bar?
Yikes! That's a tough one. I am a big fan of products! A few of my favorites are A bomb (a moisturizer by Somme), and Aveda lip tint (a must for any girl, girly or not). I also like being able to use hard wax during a service (for those tough to tackle hairs!).
If you were not an esthetician what would you be doing right now?
I would enjoy working for a nonprofit organization, helping to provide basic needs for women and children.
What else should we know about you?
I love film, art, music, traveling and cupcakes!

I love creating beautiful eyebrows!
What are some of your favorite skincare products @ The Wax Bar?
The 5 Somme products. I am noticing real changes in my skin after a few weeks of use! I'm also loving Aveda Singular Notes and their many uses. With 12 different aromas you always find one to fit your mood!
If you weren't an esthetician right now, what would you be doing?
I love to cook - maybe I would try culinary school?
What else should we know about you?
I have been a part of the Ballard community since 1997 and working as an esthetician for more than 15 years! I love living in a neighborhood where my pooch, Grace, and I can take a short walk and have everything we need!

The atmosphere creates a positive energy, and I love being a part of the Ballard community!
What is the best thing about your job?
My clients! I get to meet interesting people every day and build relationships while helping my clients feel good about themselves. It's fun and rewarding!
What are some of your favorite skincare products @ The Wax Bar?
After years of struggling with breakouts, my skin changed when I started using the Somme Transport Pads and C Serum. I am a true believer in the Somme line, and my clients love it, too!
If you weren't an esthetician right now, what would you be doing?
Wedding planner? School counselor? Probably something working with people.
What else should we know about you?
I just got married and recently moved to Ballard. My favorite things to do when I'm not working include wine tasting, trying out new recipes in the slow cooker, and spending time with my little nephew.

I love that it's such a unique place, and there's nothing like it in Seattle!
What is the best thing about your job?
Getting to meet and converse with all types of people that I wouldn't normally have the chance to.
What are some of your favorite skincare products @ The Wax Bar?
Revitalash because my eyelashes have never looked so long and full! I also love that I have the opportunity to use sugar on clients as well as wax.
If you weren't an esthetician right now, what would you be doing?
I have a passion for interior design, so something where I can design and create!

I am a huge animal lover, and love fashion and art.

What do you love about The Wax Bar?
I love my co-workers (more like family), our clients (funny, friendly, kind), and our products (the best skincare out there)... I just love everything!
What is the best thing about your job?
The best thing about my job is building these special relationships with our clients. I’ve met some amazing people here; I love seeing them every few weeks and catching up on what’s been going on in our lives! I love that I know everyone who walks in the door and they know me!
What are some of your favorite skincare products @ The Wax Bar?
Dermalogica – Special Cleansing Gel, Daily Microfoliant, and Super Rich are my favorites; I’ve been using the line for about ten years and it’s made my skin pretty flawless. I also love Tend Skin, it’s a must-have for those bikini waxes!
If you weren't working at The Wax Bar, what would you be doing right now?
I LOVE animals, so I would want to do something along those lines, maybe work at a veterinary clinic or a shelter. I would probably end up adopting all the animals at the shelter though and then I would have to move into a bigger house and win the lottery so I could afford said house and animals... Oh well, a girl can dream, right?
What else should we know about you?
I have worked in spas and salons for almost ten years, and am a certified Makeup Artist. I love everything about hair, skincare and makeup! I have a Pomeranian named Buster, he is my baby, and we enjoy going for long walks and rollerblading around Alki! I’m very close to my family and spend a lot of time with them, especially with my 2 year-old nephew!
